Teresa J. Devitt-Lynch, MSN, RN, AFN-C, AFN-BC, SANE-A

Teresa Devitt-Lynch, a North Dakota native (GO BISON!) graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998 from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011.

Board certified in Advanced Forensic Nursing and Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examinations.

A 20-yr veteran of the US Navy, her varied clinical background includes medical-surgical care, couplet care, ambulatory surgery, education and training, and forensic healthcare.

Since 2011, Teresa has been dedicated to developing and providing forensic education to DoD and civilian healthcare and legal staff; providing comprehensive forensic care to trauma victims and criminal suspects; and consulting and providing expert witness testimony for both military and civilian criminal proceedings, prosecution, and defense.

She serves on several organizational, national, and community-based committees and task forces aimed at enhancing forensic healthcare.

As the founder/owner of the INTREPID Forensic Healthcare Consulting, LLC in Fargo, ND, Teresa provides criminal case analysis and consulting, expert witness testimony in areas of medicolegal expertise, and educational services to healthcare providers, law enforcement, and law professionals on forensic healthcare issues.
